I'm sure most of you in the know have heard about the MacBookAir for the past few months now. Finally, Apple has released their new ultra portable laptop, and well it leaves me disappointed. See, I was ready to switch to Mac as my primary computer. I heard that Apple was coming out with an ultra portable that may be a MacBookPro. Basically, if you took the 13.3" MacBook screen size but thinned it down, and gave it the power of a Pro and the nice brushed aluminum look. Thats what I was hoping for, and not exactly what got delivered. Granted, the Air is cool, but its more of a secondary computer to use when your not at home on your primary one. It's nearly the cost of a Pro and most of its features (led backlighting, ambant keyboard, aluminum screen) the Pro already has! Anyway, in my attempt to decide which Mac to buy I composed a chart. I want to spend no more than $2,000. I would like to do serious photo editing, some video editing, media etc. Anyone have any suggestions? MacBookPro? MacMini + MacBook <= $2,000?
