Wow today. The day started off as planned, Jon, Chris, Junior, Vin, Phil, Tuc, and Dan all met at my house at 8:00 am to drive about 45min to go play paintball at Pine Hill as mentioned earlier in my posts. The purpose of meeting was to of course car pool, me, Phil, and Vin were in Vin's jeep. Junior rode with Tuc. Jon drove Chris and Dan. Jon, as we all know is one of the most cautious drivers, especially when compared to Dan or Vin. We had the lead in the Jeep with Jon following so far behind that we could not see them any more. The turn off of the main road onto the road Pine Hill is on sneeks up on you. Jon apparently decided to take the turn with out slowing down enough and missed it by a bit. The resulting trip took the car down into the grassy area and into some guide wires connected to an electrical pole with transformers at the top. The transformers let out a nice shower of sparks as the car made contact with the guide wires. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the death defying stunt that took Jon's Lumina out in a blaze of glory. After talking with the police and ambulance, signing wavers, and getting cleared by the medics we all went up to Pine Hill for some paintball!!. Most of us haven't played paintball in at least a year, some of us even longer. After a game or two of getting back into the swing of things we came down with full force and amazing team tactics. Splitting off into pairs or groups of three we were able to move stealthily and gain superior positions in which to flank the opposing team. Amazing rounds of Leap-Frog between Chris and I enabled us to quickly advance forward eliminating numerous people along the way. Dan, Me, Chris, and Vin could all be found crawling around in dirt, mud, and ferns at a patiently slow pace just to advance to a position undetected. We all had some pretty fun rounds and it was all a blast. We need to go back again sometime.

After paintball we all went our separate ways back home to shower. At around 5:00 Me, Dan, Junior, Jon, Chris, and Chris's gf Michelle drove up to Tuc's house to eat his food and drink his beer. His sister was having a graduation party and we were all invited. The food was tasty, the beer was cold, and the water balloons were wet. A little volley ball dried us off enough though. Eventually we left Tuc and his party to go get ice cream.. yummmm. After the ice cream it was off to the other side of town for some Mini Golf! The brand new mini golf place, called "the Caddy Shack" , was pretty sweet. It was more grown up and didn't include the enormous animals, windmills, or other annoying structures built to amuse small children. The greens were so new however, that on many of the holes a non direct shot would cause the ball to circle around the cup instead of going inside. It was lots of fun none the less.

When we got done with mini golf it was about 10:00. When its past 10:00 and we are looking for something to do we usually end up at the pool hall, one way or another. The six of us played a few different games of pool, teams, cut throat, and 8-ball. Eventually it was time to call it a day. We were all up at like 7:00am and had quite a busy and exciting day to say the least. Car crashes, paint ball, volley ball, water balloon fights, ice cream, mini golf, and pool. I don't think we could have fit much more into one day. Well I am beat, time for some sleep.
